B. Francis Chen, LICSW
Compassionate psychotherapy for individuals and couples
Currently offering services in person (East Arlington) and via secure video
As a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW), I offer warm, supportive therapy for individuals and couples. My professional experience includes work at Tufts University, Harvard University, and community mental health clinics. I enjoy collaborating with people to help them feel better about themselves amidst the many challenges of life in our society.
I will meet you where you're at and walk with you where you'd like to go in life, whether that is improving how you feel about yourself, managing difficult relationships, or anything that is keeping your from thriving.
It's often said that couples start therapy an average of 7 years too late, but there are good reasons for that. Entering couples or marriage therapy takes courage (and sometimes convincing your partner). If you're feeling stuck in patterns of conflict, disconnection, or disappointment, couples counseling can help you get unstuck.
Clinical Supervision and Consultation
Whether you are an early career therapist or a seasoned clinician, supervision or consultation can provide space to reflect on your work and deepen your clinical attunement. I provide a validating environment where you can grow in what you uniquely offer others.
